The Departement of Cardiovascular Diseases at Dubrava University Hospital has achieved a significant recognition in cardiology by obtaining pre-accreditation through ICARe-HF, an international accreditation program for centers specialized in heart failure treatment.
The ICARe-HF program is conducted by the Heart Failure Association (HFA), operating within the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
The Departement has been awarded the highest-level status as an Advanced Quality of Care Centre, Type A, with advanced treatment methods, including heart transplantation and the use of left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) for permanent mechanical circulatory support.
This pre-accreditation confirms that the Dubrava Cardiology provides a top-tier level of care for heart failure patients, representing a significant acknowledgment of our team’s dedication and a testament to our continuous efforts in improving the quality of treatment.
