The Laundry Department as an integral part of the Dubrava University Hospital began its work in 1987. Its task is to ensure an adequate, clean and constant supply of laundry for all users. It includes sorting, cleaning and disinfecting used laundry and distributing it to the individual organizational units of the hospital.
During the COVID -19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, this department played an important role in maintaining high hygiene standards for the cleanliness of laundry in all departments. The goal of this service is to achieve a high level of energy efficiency and increase the capacity of laundry processing through the optimal use of chemical detergents.
