Dermatovenerology Unit

The activity of the Dermatovenerology Unit is organized through an outpatient clinic and a dermatological consultation for other inpatient departments of the Dubrava University Hospital.

Most patients with skin conditions can be treated under the advice and guidance of our team of specialists.

The unit is located on the ground floor of the Outpatient Clinic, and can perform complex procedures such as skin examinations, wound treatment and dressing, cryotherapy, electrocoagulation, experimental skin biopsy, mycological examination, microscopic examination for pathogenic fungi, Acarus and Demodex (native preparation), Wood lamp examination and epicutaneous allergy testing.

The unit is headed by two doctors who are specialist in dermatovenerology with, and are assisted by two nurses.
