The Department of Prosthetic Dentistry currently has one full professor with a permanent title, one associate professor and one assistant. Teaching activities are based on the teaching of senior students of the integrated undergraduate and graduate study of Dental Medicine at the School of Dentistry of the University of Zagreb. Clinical teaching takes place in the Department in the form of exercises from the Fixed Prosthodontics I and II, and Removable Prosthodontics I and II courses. Employees of the Department, who are faculty members of the School of Dental Medicine, also participate in the teaching process of postgraduate specialist studies at the School of Dental Medicine and School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb, as well as in postgraduate doctoral studies. They are also authors of several book chapters and teaching texts. According to the decision of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry is authorized to conduct part of the specialist training of doctors of dental medicine in the field of prosthetic dentistry for a period of one year. The employees of the Department also participate in lifelong education courses organized by the School of Dentistry and the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine.
